SMOKING CESSATION
Smoking cessation is becoming more and more important as people realize
the risks to health by smoking. Advantages of becoming a non-smoker
include: better quality of life, better health and faster recovery
from illness and injury; money saved by not purchasing cigarettes;
improved taste of food and sense of smell; lower auto insurance rates
in some cases; finding more effective ways to handle stress; resolving
issues that heretofore have been masked or medicated by nicotine; and
finally, enhanced social life as more cities and restaurants do not
allow smoking which limits where a person who smokes can go to eat
and socialize and feel comfortable without smoking.
